1 December 2005
Only 30 days to go before the Home Office implements its policy of No purchase order = No payment.
On the 20th June, 30th September and 2nd Nov we wrote to you to advise that the Home Office was introducing a new ERP system (Adelphi) and will in future buy goods and services by one of the following two methods:-
- Orders generated from our Adelphi system.
- The Government Procurement Card (which is essentially a Visa card)
We also advised you that all invoices must be sent to the following address:
Adelphi Service Centre, Home Office, India Buildings, 4th Floor, Liverpool, Merseyside L2 0UR
This letter is to remind you that the Home Office will be implementing the policy of requiring a purchase order number to be quoted on the invoice from the 1st January 2006. You should now ensure you have a purchase order number and add it to your invoices before sending them to the address above.
All invoices received after 1st January 2006 with no purchase order number will be returned to you. You will then need to obtain a valid purchase order number from your Home Office contact, add it to your invoice and return it to the address above.
If you have any questions about the Home Office Policy ‘No Purchase Order, No Payment’ please refer to these responses we have prepared.
